ANTELOPE CANYON
The photography tour of Antelope Canyon gets you into the canyon with a slightly less number of people. This makes photography a bit easier, although some of those photographers can be pretty pushy. I just have had to push my way to the front so that I can get a good photo, and all the photographers are ducking and bending around other photographers so that we can all get our photos. They try to time the photography tour so that the sun rays are shining in the canyon. The first year, one of the photographers was late and we didn’t see the sun rays in the canyon. The second time we took the tour, we saw the rays, and it was stunning.
EXITING THE CANYON
When you start the tour, the beginning section of the canyon is pretty, but the light doesn’t really hit that section of the canyon until the end of the tour. When exiting the canyon, if you hit it right, the light is spectacular and lights up the canyon walls. Below is a photo of the exiting point of the tour.
